Jerry and Cheryl live in Quakertown, PA, though Jerry grew up in the Pittsburgh area.  They have been married 42 years,  have three adult children, Rebekah, Ben, and Bethany, and are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren, two girls and five boys.  They met at Houghton College, where they received their undergraduate degrees.  Jerry also hold a Masters in Church Music from Southern Seminary and Cheryl received her master's degree in education from Wilkes Barre University. As a young teenager, Jerry felt called to music ministry and has just recently retired , after 40+ years, from full-time pastoral music ministry, the last 20 years serving at East Swamp Church in Quakertown.   Before beginning his ministry in Quakertown, Jerry also served as the worship pastor at three other churches in Indiana, Minnesota, and Vermont.  Cheryl is an elementary school teacher and has taught 5th grade for the past 20 years in the Quakertown school district.

 

In addition to his church ministry, Jerry has always enjoyed working on a variety of handyman projects.  Both Jerry and Cheryl enjoy biking, traveling, gardening, and working on various (and endless) projects at their home.  Jerry and Cheryl have actually served as the music evangelists at Cherry Run over 35 years ago and look forward to returning to Camp Meeting again in 2024.
